Cannabis To Possibly Cure COVID-19 Infection: Study

Researchers from Oregon State University found that cannabis compounds could be an alternative to cure Covid-19 infections. Two compounds namely, Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA) and Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDA) found in Hemp are responsible for combating the virus. The compounds were tested on Alpha and Beta variants, which bound to spike proteins found on the virus and blocked their path to spread further. Notably, the study hasn't been tested on people yet.
