China Slams UK PM Contender Rishi Sunak For Declaring Beijing 'Biggest Threat'
China responded on July 25 to UK Prime Minister candidate Rishi Sunak's claims that Beijing is "the biggest long-term threat to Britain," calling the remarks "irresponsible." China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian responded to Sunak's comment by saying that statements regarding China, cannot address one's own issues. Rishi stated that for far too long, leaders in UK and throughout West have "turned a blind eye to China's nefarious activity."
