Diego Maradona Case: 7 Doctors Face Premediated Murder Charges
Argentine footballer Diego Maradona's doctors are facing charges over his premeditated murder. Reportedly, the case was under investigation since November 2020 death of Maradona following a heart attack. Prohibited to leave the country, the accused neurosurgeon Leopiodo Luque, psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov and psychologist Carlos Diaz could face 8-25 years imprisonment if found guilty. Notably, the footballer reported a ‘prolonged, agonizing period’ post brain surgery and later his condition deteriorated.
