Google Develops 'Project Guideline' To Assist Blind In Outdoor Sporting
Tech-giant Google has been developing 'Project Guideline' to assist blind and people with low vision to play outdoor games. Working on machine learning, the technique uses a smartphone, headphone and a yellow coloured path. It will assist the visually impaired to follow instructions via headphone, while it uses the smartphone camera tied on his wrist. The project is in early-phase of research in collaboration with American guide dog training school.
