Greta Thunberg Urges German Chancellor to Declare Climate Emergency
Environmental activist and two-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thuberg met with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel on August 20. She urged the leader to declare a climate emergency. "Everyone blames one another. Someone needs to break that cycle, "said Greta, who also delivered a letter with 125,000 signatures to Merkel.
