India, WHO Inks Pact To Set Up Global Traditional Medicine Centre In Gujarat
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Government of India, on March 25, signed a deal to set up the Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, Gujarat. In addition, the initiative aims to harness the potential of traditional medicine worldwide through modern science and technology to improve the health of people as well as the planet. Notably, the Centre will officially open on April 21, 2022.
