Tania Sachdev fought long and hard to earn a valuable point as India A beat Hungary 2.5-1.5 in fourth-round match of the women's section at 44th Chess Olympiad on August 1 at Mamallapuram, Chennai. The 11th-seeded Indian women's B team also defeated Estonia, 2.5-1.5. India B beat Italy 3-1. India A was held to a 2-2 tie against France, while India C was defeated by Spain by a 1.5-2.5 score.
