IPL 2020: Sheldon Cottrell Brings 'Military-style Salute' Celebrations to IPL
IPL has witnessed many players with unique style of celebrations that are loved by the audience too. A new such addition is Sheldon Cottrell. In its second match, IPL 2020 got another interesting cricketer who is known for his post-wicket celebrations. In the pre-match huddle of Kings XI Punjab, Chris Gayle gave cap to Sheldon Cottrell and a very familiar salute to his Jamaican teammate. Cottrell, who has been bought by Punjab for a king-size price of Rs 8.50 crore, is loved by the audience for his unique 'military-style salute' celebration. He says, the salute is just to show his respect to Jamaican Defence Forces. Jamaican pacer performed decent in his first match and spared only 24 runs in 4 overs, and gave 2 iconic salutes – wickets of Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin. Cottrell is debuting in the IPL and fans can expect to see more such 'salutes'.
