Australia's Steve Smith will make his debut as a commentator during the 2018 Indian Premier League, the tournament's broadcaster said on Tuesday, putting an end to speculation regarding his return to the sport. The 16th edition of the cash-rich Twenty20 extravaganza kicks off Friday in Ahmedabad, with 10 teams and a slew of worldwide stars in attendance. Smith, 33, confirmed his comeback to the competition and announced the same.

IPL 2023 Returns, Grand Ceremony On March 31
The awaited 16th season of the IPL is set to kickstart in a grand opening ceremony. On March 24, the BCCI announced about the inside information about the spectacular event, scheduled to be held on March 31, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Delhi Court Issues Warrant Against Former Coach Of Indian Women Football Team
A Delhi court issued a warrant against Alex Mario Ambrose, the ex-coach of the Indian Women's Football U-17 team. The warrant has been issued for allegedly abusing a player in June 2022, under the POCSO Act. When the team was in Norway, Alex allegedly sexually abused a minor player and was suspended for misconduct. The Dwarka Session court issued the warrant and adjourned the matter to February 25.
