ISRO Satellites To Be Powered With Environment-friendly Fuels
ISRO chief K Sivan has said that upcoming satellites and rockets of the space research organisation will be powered by "non-hazardous" and environment-friendly fuel. Indian Space Research Organization is chalking out plans to use hydrogen peroxide as a fuel for its future space endeavours including 'Gaganyaan'. Besides, it is also eyeing to use electric propulsion and green fuel - LOX/Methane - to minimise the environment degradation.
