Maha Govt Asks Schools to Conduct RT-PCR Tests For Teachers Before Reopening
The Maharashtra government has mandated conduction of RT-PCR tests on all school teachers between November 17-22. Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that before schools commence post Diwali holidays from November 23, teachers will be tested to curb the spread of the virus. Although the SOPs are yet to be released, Gaikwad declared that only one student will be allowed to sit per bench with classes held on alternate days for science, maths and english.
