Marylebone Club Reviews Saliva Ban, Helmet, Bouncers, Women Cricket
The Marylebone Cricket Club, in its recent meeting, discussed the controversial DRS for LBW decisions. Mandating helmets for batsmen even against spinners, the cricket custodian advocated for continuing short-pitch bowling. Besides, suggesting a continuation of the saliva ban, MCC proposed to discuss the future of Women's cricket in its August meeting. The club including Mike Gatting, Saurav Ganguly, Sangakkara and Shane Warne suggested to include a minimum of one neutral umpire in the matches.
