Mumbai Police Saves Newborn Child From Drainage Near Pantnagar
Mumbai Police rescued a newborn infant from a gutter after it was discovered by villagers near Pantnagar. The infant, wrapped in a towel, was discovered after several cats started making a racket and alerted people. "The baby was rushed to Rajawadi (hospital) by the Nirbhaya Squad of Pantnagar police station and is now safe and recovering," said police. Identity of the baby's parents or those who abandoned it remains unclear.
