Nagland Plans To Virtually Celebrate The Hornbill Festival Amid COVID-19
Nagaland's popular Hornbill Festival will be celebrated virtually this year amid the coronavirus pandemic. The state tourism department announced that the festival will be observed over audio-visual mediums and social media platforms. Celebrated every year from December 1 to 10, the festival showcases the culture, heritage, food, and customs of Naga tribes at Kisama village. The ten days festival observes colorful dance performances by the sixteen tribes of Nagaland.
