National Sports Awards 2020 to Go Virtual Amid Covid-19 Pandemic

The National Sports Awards this year has been moved to the virtual platform, in view of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic. President Ram Nath Kovind will be presenting the awards on August 29. The decision to cancel a physical event has been taken after extensive meetings held between the President's office and the Sports Ministry. This is the first time Sports Ministry is allowing self-applications for the awards.
