TikTok Parent Company ByteDance To Develop New Music App, 'TikTok Music'

TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, is developing a new music app named "TikTok Music," according to a trademark application filed with US Patent and Trademark Office. The actual debut date is undisclosed. It will compete with music streaming behemoths such as Spotify, Apple, and Google. TikTok Music by ByteDance would allow users to "live stream audio and video interactive media programming in the field of entertainment, fashion, sports, and current events."
