Video Sharing App Josh Gets Funding From Google, Microsoft
After Chinese-owned app 'TikTok' had been banned, a local short-video app 'Josh' has raised more than $100 million from investors like Google and Microsoft. After the investment, the Bengaluru-based 'Josh' has been valued at $1 billion. Earlier in September, 'ShareChat' had raised around $40 million from Twitter.Inc and Lightspeed Ventures for its new platform 'Moj'. According to Google's Play Store, both 'Josh' and 'Moj' have around 50 million subscribers.
