Wishes Pour In From Around the World On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 70th Birthday
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates his 70th birthday on September 17, leaders around the globe have sent their greetings to the PM. The Prime Minister of Russia shared his wishes on the Facebook saying, “Under your leadership, India is successfully moving along the path of socio-economic, scientific and technical development.” Nepal's Prime Minister took to twitter to share 'warm greetings' stating that the two leaders will work closely to strengthen relations between Nepal and India. The twitter account of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) shared regards of German Chancellor Angela Merkel who addressed PM, in her letter, as 'Dear Narendra', talking about the cooperation between both the countries. Indian opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Shashi Tharoor, and many others have also extended their wishes. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janta Party's (BJP) 'Seva Saptah' drive is going on to mark the 70th birthday of the party chief.
