Oppo A16 has been launched in India, selling at Rs 13,990 via Amazon. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and runs on Android 11. The company also offers 4GB + 64GB storage, a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD, a 13-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and splash resistance. The A16 is available in three colors and has been packed with a 5,000mAh battery.

Amazon Bans Multiple Chinese Products Due To Policy Violation
Due to repeated violations of Amazon's Community policies, around 600 Chinese brands have been removed and banned from its platform. It was stated that the ban against the Chinese brands was not a campaign against China but to prove to companies that Amazon promotes healthy and fair competition. Chinese companies are now venturing into other E-Commerce companies like eBay and Ali Express.

Jeff Bezos Invests In Anti-Aging Startup Alto Labs: Reports
Altos Labs, working on Anti-aging therapies or reverse the aging process, claimed that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has invested in the program, said media reports. The lab is offering a $1 million annual payment to scientists who wish to join it and reportedly Nobel laureate Shinya Yamanaka has decided to chair the scientific advisory board. However, the lab has planned to establish institutes in, California, the UK, and Japan.

Job Opportunities; Amazon To Hire 55,000 Employees Around Globe
In one of the biggest hiring, Amazon has decided to employ 55,000 people around the globe, close to facebook's employee count. However, about 40,000 people will be working in the US. Trading Practices Of Amazon, Flipkart To Be Investigated
The Supreme court of India will investigate the trading practices of Amazon and Walmart's Flipkart on the grounds of anti-competitive behavior allegations. Reportedly, the two tech giants bypassed Indian laws and using various tactics to hamper small businesses. Union Commerce Minister Piyush Gopal welcomed the SC's decision invoking the "Quit India Movement". An official report regarding the allegations is yet to be disclosed.

Delhi HC Seeks Centre Response On Sale Of Shein Products On Amazon
Delhi HC has sought a response from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology as to why not put a ban and suspend the sale of Shein's product on Amazon following a PIL. Notably, the ministry banned Shein, a Chinese clothing brand, along with the other Chinese app as they posed danger to India's sovereignty. However, the court will again hear the matter in August.
