Maharashtra Engineer Arrested For Taking Rs 10,000 Bribe, Confirms ACB

In Maharashtra's Thane district, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a section engineer Bhojwanta Amrutrao Shinde. A young engineer, in Bengaluru, ended his life, after he was blackmailed for obscene pictures, on Instagram. The police are suspecting the role of a ‘Nude gang’ behind the suicide and started an investigation in this direction. He also used new ideas to earn by selling cow dung, slurry Gonandajala, and 750 litre milk daily.

Civil Engineer Slits Throats Of His Children; Commits Suicide

Being unemployed, thus resulting in acute depression, a civil engineer committed suicide by consuming poison after slitting the throats of his son and daughter on August 27 and August 28. His wife also consumed the poison, however, she survived. Besides, the 16-year-old son died and the daughter is in critical condition. He left a suicide note where he expressed that he was unable to bear the expenses.

22-Year-Old Engineer Dies At IIT Madras Campus; Police Suspects Suicide

A 22-year-old engineer was found dead on July 2 inside the campus of IIT Madras. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Unnikrishnan and was working as a project assistant at the University. “He has left a note saying he was unable to cope with work,” said an official. However, preliminary investigation suggests that it was a suicide. Besides, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
