Woman Kills Mentally-Challenged Daughter In Mumbai: Maharashtra
Vaishnavi Suresh (19), a mentally-challenged girl, was allegedly murdered by her mother Shraddha (41) in Maharashtra's Mumbai. A resident of western suburbs of Andheri, Shraddha reportedly murdered her daughter after being concerned about her condition. Initially, Shraddha denied the act, and later confessed to it. A case under IPC section 302 (murder) has been filed, and further details are awaited.

Mumbai: Pub In Andheri Violates Lockdown Guidelines; 196 People Detained
At least 196 individuals were detained by the Mumbai Police on November 1 from a bar in Andheri's Sakinaka region. The individuals were booked for violating the state recommended health guidelines to contain COVID-19.The social service division of the Mumbai Police arrived at the bar and arrests were made. The people who got booked include owners, staff-members and 171 customers. An FIR has been filed against the people concerned.
