Tripura Animal Resource Development Imposes Ban On Animal Slaughtering
To prevent animal cruelty, Tripura's Animal Resource Development Department Secretary Dr DK Debnath issued a notice on July 9. As per the notice, on the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha or Bakra Eid, no animal slaughtering will be allowed in rural, urban cities of Agartala, Tripura. Anyone found violating the law will attract punishment under the Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act 1960, and the Animal slaughtering prevention act.

Video Of Man Beating Stray Dog To Death Goes Viral, Police File Complaint: Bangalore
Bengaluru police booked a man after a video of him thrashing a stray dog and throwing it into a ditch went viral on social media. The video shared by an NGO by the name Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre (CARC), also shows the man shouting at those who tried to stop him. Reportedly, the incident occured at Chintamadivala village, near Electronic City, on June 20.

Supreme Court Raises Concerns Over Rail Expansion Project In Goa
