Pune Police Arrests Army Major In Soldier Recruitment Paper Leak Case
The Pune Police on March 8 arrested a Major rank Army officer from Tamil Nadu's Wellington in connection with the Army Relation Recruitment exam paper leak. Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta stated that "the military and police are working together" as investigation is underway. Leh: Army Doctors Perform Emergency Appendix Operation At 16,000 Feet
A team of three Army doctors performed a major appendix surgery in a freezing temperature at an altitude of 16,000 feet in Eastern Ladakh. Due to harsh weather conditions, the patient could not be evacuated by a chopper, hence, the doctors decided to perform the emergency surgery at a Forward Surgical Centre (FSC). As reported by the officials, the operation was successful and the patient is stable.

Army's Lt Col Bharat Pannu Cycles 472-km Road Journey In Record Time
Army officer Lt Col Bharat Pannu completed the 472-km long road-journey, from Leh to Manali, on a bicycle in the record time of 35 hours and 25 minutes. Pannu began his journey from Leh on October 10 morning. He used a thin-tyred racing 'road bike' for this expedition. Reportedly, the 37-year-old will be submitting his ride data to officials at Guinness World Records.
