Hundred of Iraqis took to the streets of Baghdad on July 2 to protest against the excessive power and water cuts amid scorching temperatures of 50 degrees in some parts of Iraq. At Least 82 Dead, 110 Injured In COVID Hospital Fire In Baghdad
A fire triggered at a COVID hospital in Iraq’s Baghdad on April 24 has killed 82 people and injured 110 people. Caused by explosion in oxygen tank, the fire at the Ibn Khatib hospital in the Diyala Bridge area forced people to jump out of window to escape. Terming it an evidence of negligence, PM Mustafa al-Kadhimi ordered an investigation stating a need to review safety measures for all hospitals.
