BBMP Issues Show Cause Notice To 3 Engineers Over 'Substandard Road': Karnataka
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued show cause notice to three engineers involved in asphalting of a road, on June 24. BBMP called it a "substandard work", and demanded an answer from the engineers. BBMP stated, there are clips were the asphalts can be seen being removed by hand. The road in issue is the Mariyappanapalya main road in Bangalore University campus, which was laid "couple of days ago".

Bangalore University Students Score More Than Full Marks, Criticises Evaluation
At least 15 students at Bangalore University scored more than full marks. BA/B.COM students who opted for Tourism Agency and Tour Operator Organisations, scored more than full marks, i.e., 70. Prof JT Deveraju, evaluation registrar said the issue was due to digital evaluation and withdrew the results. Bangalore University further said, they would release fresh results soon. K'taka Students In Dilemma Over Pending Exams As Classes Resume Further
Students from Karnataka colleges are stuck in a situation where even semester classes have resumed while the odd semester exams are yet to be conducted due to COVID-19 blues. Students said the dilemma has created anxiety and pressure to remember the academic portions of two semesters. Meanwhile, Bangalore University V-C R Venugopal stated that 10 days preparation time will be given to students before the odd semester exams.

Bangalore University Convocation Goes Online; Cancels Honorary Doctorate
Bangalore University (BU) has reportedly decided to hold its 55th annual convocation virtually. The convocation, which was supposed to be held in April, was postponed owing to the pandemic. The university has also decided not to award honorary doctorate this year.
