Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut started shooting for her next film "Emergency" on July 14. Taking to Instagram, Ranaut shared the teaser and her first look as PM Indira Gandhi. Penned by Ritesh Shah and directed by the actress, Kangana herself, this is her second biopic as a director. "Emergency", is the story of a watershed moment in the political history of India, in 1975, and set to release in 2023.

Producers Vinod Bhanushali and Sandeep Singh, who recently acquired rights to the bestselling book on India’s former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, announced a movie. T-series head Bhushan Kumar announced to make a biopic of Saroj Khan, India's first woman legendary choreographer on her first death anniversary. Kumar has acquired the rights of the film from her children Raju Khan, Sukaina Khan, and the daughters of Hina khan.
