Winter In Rajasthan Intensifies; Temperature Drops To 4.5 Deg C
Rajasthan's Churu recorded a minimum temperature of 4.5 degrees Celsius as cold conditions became extreme in the state. The temperatures also saw a dip of 1-4.5 degrees in the state. Furthermore, the night temperature in Nagapur, Pilani, and Alwar was 6.6, 6.7, and 7.5 degrees celsius, respectively. Kashmir Witnesses Extreme Cold Wave; Srinagar Records -2.4 Degrees Celsius
Kashmir witnessed an extreme cold wave as the minimum temperature hit below the freezing point. Srinagar recorded minus 2.4 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam recorded minus 4.1 degrees Celsius on December 3. Furthermore, Gulmarg's temperature was minus 1 degrees Celsius, where as the mercury in Kupwara recorded minus 2.8 degrees Celsius. The officials stated that a weak Western Disturbance is likely to hit Kashmir towards the weekend.

2 Beggars Found Dead Due To Cold Weather Conditions: UP
Bodies of two beggars were found in Uttar Pradesh's Khatauli town and Shamli district. The reason of theirs death was reported to be cold weather conditions. The bodies were sent for post mortem. The first body hinted the person to be in his forties and no marks were reportedly found on his body, while the second body was found in the verandah of a power house in Shamli.

Once World's Largest Iceberg 'A68' Melts Away At British Territory
World's largest iceberg, 'A68’ has melted into fragments at northeast British overseas territory. Weighing billions of tons, the iceberg was once a part of Larsen sea ice shelf until 2017. While the largest remaining piece was believed to be of around 3x2nautical-miles, the remaining fragments were not traced by US National Ice Center.
