Indian Govt Mandates Six Airbags In Cars, In Effect From Oct 1, 2023
Concerned about safety, the Indian government has made six airbags in passenger cars mandatory. The new implementation of six airbags will be in effect from October 1, 2023. So far only high-end cars come with six airbags, while 90% of vehicles on Indian roads do not have that feature, leaving the possibility of mishaps like road accidents. Union Road, Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari announced same through Twitter.

Cyrus Mistry Death Case: Mercedes Experts From Hong Kong Arrive At Mumbai To Inspect Car Crash
In the ongoing death case of Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry, a team of Mercedes experts from Hong Kong has arrived at Mercedes showroom in Thane to inspect the controversial car crash. The team will submit a report to the Mercedes Benz Company, following the inspection. On September 4, Mistry along with three others, was travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in car. The road accident left two dead.

Cyrus Mistry Accident Case Investigation Underway, Mercedes Submits Detailed Report
Cyrus Mistry's accident case, which caused his demise has now become a national issue of road safety, traffic violations and other issues, which led to the crash. Luxury carmaker Mercedes on Thursday submitted their probe report to the Palghar Police on September 8, and revealed that the car was going at 100/kmph speed five seconds before the brake prior to the crash. The investigation into the matter is underway.

Forensic Team Investigates Cyrus Mistry Death, Blames Poor Infrastructure
A seven-member forensic team investigating the death of business tycoon Cyrus Mistry, blamed the faulty design of the bridge as the reason behind the accident. The team confirmed the crash reason saying, the Mercedes-Benz SUV met with an accident due to the "faulty design" of the bridge, while the deaths occurred as occupants were not wearing seat belts, concluding negligence and poor infrastructure can cause death.

Cyrus Mistry’s Death: Ratan Tata’s Stepmother Attends Funeral In Wheelchair
Following the death of the Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry, Ratan Tata’s stepmother attended the funeral in a wheelchair. Mistry who suffered a fatal road accident, was cremated in Mumbai, on September 6. Simone Tata (92) arrived at the crematorium in a special van. Various family members, industrialists, businessmen and politicians were present at the crematorium. Further details are awaited.

Tech-Mahindra CEO Anand Mahindra took a pledge after the details of Tata Son's Former Chairman Cyrus Mistry. On September 5, Anand tweeted, "I resolve to always wear my seat belt even when in the rear seat of the car. And I urge all of you to take that pledge too. We all owe it to our families." Cyrus Mistry Death Case: Doctor Suggests Head Injury
Cyrus Mistry who was brought to a government hospital in Kasa, reportedly suffered head injuries, informed the doctor who attended him. Reportedly, former Tata Sons chairman rammed his car into a divider, was declared “brought dead” at the hospital. The Palghar police stated that the business tycoon was en route from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in his car. Meanwhile, of the four persons travelling in the car, two died on spot.

Cyrus Mistry, 54-year-old, former Chairman of Tata Sons, passed away in a tragic accident, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. On September 4, Cyrus' car rammed into a divider in Palghar region near Surya River Charoti Bridge. He was returning from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in his Marcedes, when the tragic incident was reported. Furthermore, besides Cyrus, one more person in the car died, whereas two others received serious injuries.

Cyrus Mistry Urges SC To Review Judgement Over His Removal From Tata
Shapoorji Palonji Group led By Cyrus Mistry has approached the Supreme Court seeking a review of the judgment made in the favour of the Tata Groups. The apex court had earlier backed the removal of Mistry from the chairman post of Tata Groups, after a long high-profile legal battle between the two entities. "I am personally disappointed by the outcome of the judgment," Mistry had stated.
