Delhi: Woman Alleges Harassment by Police Personnel
A video of an 18-year-old girl was shared widely on social media, wherein she accused at least four Delhi Police personnel of misbehaving with her inside a park in East Delhi’s Krishna Nagar. However, the Delhi police described her allegations as ‘false’. The police stated that the girl and her friend, had actually “assaulted” a man, Nitin Jain, after the latter collided with the couple inside the park.

Property Dealer Arrested for Selling Same Land Twice, Forging Documents
A 65-year-old man, SB Chaudhary, was arrested on August 25 for allegedly selling the same land to two different people - firstly in 1988, and then in 2002. The Delhi Police has registered a case against the accused for cheating and forgery of ownership documents of land. Reportedly, the accused is a real estate consultant, who owned a firm named M/s Chaudhary Estate.

Delhi Police Arrests Gangster En Route to Commit Crime
Kapil Bava, a notorious gangster, on August 20 was arrested by Delhi Police from the Bindapur area of the capital. The police received information that the accused was travelling through Lakkad Pul to go to Uttam Nagar Terminal for a planned crime. Following the verification of the input, the accused was spotted and nabbed by the Anti Auto Theft Squad team. Reportedly, a loaded pistol was also recovered from him.

Delhi: Rs 2 Crore Gets Donated to AAP Through Shell Companies, Police Nab 2
The Delhi police have arrested two men for allegedly donating Rs 2 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) through shell companies, officials said on August 21. The accused have been identified as Mukesh Kumar and Sudhanshu Bansal. As per a senior officer, a complaint was registered by the Registrar of Companies (RoC) which stated that four companies, reportedly on April 5, 2014, donated Rs. 50 lakh each to the AAP.

Delhi: ‘Thak-Thak’ Gang Member Arrested, Police Recover Rs 5.88 Lakh Stolen Money
Delhi police have arrested Kishan- the accused, of stealing Rs 5.88 Lakh from a cash collector, Satish Chand in Bindapur. Kishan turned out to be a member of ‘Thak-Thak’ gang, which distracts people and robs them. According to the police, the incident took place when Chand had been to washroom. Upon his return, his bag of cash went missing. Reportedly, the police have recovered cash and seized two motorcycles.

Delhi Constable Shoots Man Over an Argument; Investigation Underway
A Delhi Police Head Constable identified as Surinder allegedly shot a man dead in Rohini's Budh Vihar colony in the early hours of August 20. Reportedly, the deceased, Deepak Ahlawat had an argument with the accused over personal matters following which the incident took place. The Constable has been arrested and further investigation is on. "We are dismissing Surinder from his job," a senior police official informed.

Criminal Killed by Miscreants in Delhi; Police Booked Four Persons
A 30-year-old criminal, having 22 cases against him, was shot dead on August 17 in Delhi. He was out on parole that was granted in May. According to the police, the deceased, Dinesh Bhatti alias Dinna, was hit multiple times by the miscreants before getting shot. Four persons - Akash (27), Ajay (26), Aarusha (27) and Vikas Kumar (22) - have been charged with murder case, the police informed.
