Assam: 12 Year Old Jumps Into River For Not Buying Puja Clothes
In a distressing incident, a 12-year-old boy , who was reportedly saddened over not receiving new clothes for the Durga Puja festivities, leaped off a bridge and into the river at Golakganj in Assam’s Dhubri district. The deceased has been identified as Suman Roy, a student of class 8 at Gaikhowa Gandhigram Middle School. The drastic step of the kid has left the family in shock.

Former Indian Captain Bishan Singh Bedi Dies At 77
Bishan Singh Bedi, former India captain and legendary spinner has died at the age of 77, news agency PTI reported on Monday. Bedi, a veteran of 67 Tests between in a 12-year-career spanning between 1967 and 1979, was one of India's most celebrated cricketers. Bed was one that revolutionised the art of spin bowling worldwide and was awarded the Padma Shri trophy in 1970.

Asian Paints Co-founder Ashwin Dani Passed Away At 79
Asian Paints Co-founder and Non-executive Director Ashwin Dani passed away at the age of 79. Dani joined the company, now among Asia's biggest paint companies, in 1968. The company was established by his father and three others in 1942. Moreover, Dani’s son, Malav, is also a member of the company’s board. According to Forbes, Dani’s net worth as of 2023 is $7.1 billion. After Ashwin's death shares fell by 4%.

19 Year Old Boy Collapsed, Later Died Of Cardiac Arrest
A 19-year-old boy Vinit Kunvariya died of suspected cardiac failure while playing Garba in Gujarat’s Jamnagar. The incident took place on September 25, when Vinit, an engineering student, was practising garba in a class in the Patel Park area for a Navratri event. Vinit suddenly collapsed after completing the first round and was rushed to a private hospital, and later shifted to GG Hospital where he was declared dead.

SPG Arun Kumar Sinha Who Provided Security To PM Passed Away At 60
Arun Kumar Sinha, the Director of the Special Protection Group (SPG), passed away at the age of 60 at Gurgaon's Medanta Hospital on September 6. The SPG director was battling cancer for over a year, confirmed reports. The SPG is responsible for Prime Minister's security. The Special Protection Group (SPG) has the task of providing security to the Prime Minister of India, former Prime Minister and their immediate family members.

UP: 2 Storey Building Collapsed, 2 Dead 10 Trapped
Two people died and 10 others were injured after a double-storey building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki on early Monday morning. The authorities suspect that around three to four people may still be trapped under the debris and are carrying out a search and rescue operation to locate them, the police said. The visuals of the dramatic collapse is going viral on social media platforms.

ISRO Scientist Behind Chandrayaan 3 Final Countdown Passed Away
N Valarmathi, the Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist and the iconic voice behind the agency's rocket countdown launches, passed away at the age of 64 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. According to reports, she suffered a heart-attack on September 3. Chandrayaan-3 was her final countdown announcement in July. Besides Chandrayan 3, she was project director of RISAT-1, India's first indigenously-developed Radar Imaging Satellite.

Manipur Fresh Violence: 3 Died In Clashes Between Kuki & Meitei Communities
Fresh violence broke out in the Manipur region after a clash broke out between Kuki and Meitei communities. The clashes occurred in the early hours of August 5, killed three people and left houses burnt. Furthermore, the deceased were identified as Yumnam Pishak Meitei (67) and his son Yumnam Premkumar Meitei (39) and a neighbour Yumnam Jiten Meitei (46.) The victims belonged to the Meitei community in the Kwakta district.
