Gymnast Dipa Karmakar Announces Her Return After Settlement Of Dope Issue
Gymnast Dipa Karmakar confirmed resolution of her dispute with the international federation over a provisional suspension for a positive test for ingestion of a banned substance in October 2021 is settled. She said he will be back in action in July 2023, to the sports she love. Taking to social media, Dipa said she is going to "Return to the sport I love in July 2023."

Wrestler Sumit Malik Fined For Failing Dope Test, Loses Olympics Berth
Indian freestyle wrestler Sumit Malik (125kg category) is likely to be fined Rs 16 lakh for a failed dope test taken during the Olympic qualifiers held in Bulgaria in May. With methylhexanamine found in his urine sample, Malik has already lost his place in the Tokyo Olympics.
