Tata Motors Launches Tigor EV; Price, Features Revealed
Tata Motor’s Tigor EV has been launched on August 31, pricing from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 13.14 lakh. It is a battery-powered car available in two colour options. A total of 306 km can be covered by the car on a single charge. The car can be charged using a fast charger or 15A home socket. Moreover, EV generates 73.75 hp of power with 170Nm of torque.

Uttarakhand Students Create Electric Car Out of Recycled Paper
Students of Uttarakhand's 'Graphic Era' institute have created an electric racing car 'C-Zero' whose body is made up of recycled paper. Weighing 40 kg, ‘C-Zero’ was created by mixing Plaster of Paris with reprocessed Papier-mache. Fetching a mileage of 108 Km/kWh, 'C-Zero' encompasses a water and fireproof structure. India Competes With China; Offers Tesla Lower Cost of Manufacturing
India offers a lower cost of production compared to China in an attempt to make Tesla start their manufacturing unit in the country. This decision comes a week after Tesla registered a company for the imports and sale of cars. Union minister Nitin Gadkari offered Tesla a 'steal of a deal' to boost local manufacturing of electric vehicles (EVs) and other components in-order to cut cost on imports, and lower pollution as well.

Mercedes Launches Benz EQC In Six Indian Cities; Priced At Rs 99.30 Lakh
At a price of Rs 99.30 lakh, Mercedes launched its electric car Benz-EQC in six Indian cities - Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. EQC will have Burmester audio system and MBUX infotainment system as some of its features. It is equipped with an 80 kWh battery pack and powered by a twin electric motor setup producing a maximum output of 408PS and 760Nm.
