Mercedes Fined With €20,000 For Tyre Mix-Up At Sakhir Grand Prix
The International Automobile Federation handed a €20,000 fine to Formula One team Mercedes after causing a pitstop bungle in the Sakhir Grand Prix. Reportedly, the team fitted wrong tyres to the leading George Russell's car, which were supposed to be installed at Valtteri Bottas’ vehicle. F1 Drivers To Remain Dressed in Driving Suits For Post-Race Ceremony: FIA
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) on September 27 announced that Formula 1 drivers should remain dressed in driving suits for post-race ceremonies and interviews. FIA added that suits should be done up to the neck and a medical or team-branded face mask was necessary. The move was initiated after the Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton wore a t-shirt that referred to Breonna Taylor, a black woman shot by the US Police.
