UFC 257 Plans To Allow 'Limited Spectators' For January Fight Events
The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism has announced that the following UFC events scheduled for January 16, 20 and 23 will allow "a limited number of spectators". The state’s media office tweeted, "The triple header will see three mega-fights, utilizing Abu Dhabi's proven 'safe zone' concept". UFC 257: Michael Chandler To Debut Against Dan Hooker
Former three-time Bellator MMA champion Michael Chandler is set to debut at UFC 257 in the co-main event against sixth-ranked Dan Hooker. Scheduled for January 23 in Abu Dhabi, the fight would take place in the lightweight division (66-70 kg). Chandler, designated among Bellator's most decorated fighter, had signed with UFC in 2020. Meanwhile, Hooker will be eying for a comeback from June 2020 defeat to Dustin Poirier.
