Indian Govt Responds To UN's Claim Of Rights Violation Under IT Rules
Analysing over the India's new IT rules, United Nation's three Special Rapporteurs claims violation of Freedom of opinion and expression. Alleged upon the violation of Right to Privacy, Right to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and of Association, the UN wrote a letter to the Government of India. Responding to the allegations, it stated, there is a necessity of enacting the IT rules to curb the spread of disharmony, violence, etc.
