IPS Ravi Sinha Appointed As New Chief Of RAW
Ravi Sinha, a senior IPS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, has been appointed a new chief of India's external intelligence Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Govt Official Caught Red Handed For Taking Rs 35,000 Bribe, Arrested
In Madhya Pradesh, a government employee has been arrested, after he was caught red-handed for taking a bribe of Rs 35,000 in Balaghat, under the Prevention of Corruption Act provisions On June 20, the police said, Paimendra Harinkhede, a reader in the tehsildar office of Lalbarra area, sought bribe for the change of title of a factory, said DSP Economic Offences Wing, Manjeet Singh.

BSF Officer Shot Himself Dead In Tripura Headquarters, Case Registered
In Tripura's Dhalai district, a BSF officer allegedly shot himself dead outside his battalion headquarters in the Jawaharnagar area, confirmed BSF. Posted at MK Para border, the deceased was a native of Rajasthan. The reason behind the suicide is yet to be known and a case has been registered. Meanwhile, the body has been sent for postmortem and a detailed investigation has been launched.

Haryana Official Arrested For Taking Bribe In Yamunanagar
In Haryana's Yamunanagar district, the Haryana State Vigilance Bureau arrested Rajni Kant, Sub-Inspector of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumers Affairs Department for taking bribes. As per ANI, Praveen Kumar, a resident of Noltha, filed a complaint against the SI and said Rajni Kant used to take a bribe of Rs 20,000 every month, to verify bills.
