Char Dham Yatra Guidelines Released, COVID-19 Certificate, Test Not Mandatory

Ahead of the Char Dham Yatra, the Uttarakhand Government and Chief Secretary SS Sandhu held a meeting. As per sources, the government asked all the devotees to register on the state's portal prior to their arrival, which is said to begin on May 3. Furthermore, as of now, the COVID-19 vaccination certificates and negative reports have not been made mandatory by the authorities, with orders of smooth conduct of yatra.

Kerala Issues New Travel Guidelines For International Air Passengers; Check Here

Yellow Alert Issued In China Amid Heavy Fog

China's National observatory on January 9, issued yellow alert due to heavy fog, as during the daytime, thick fog is expected to sweep several parts. National Meteorological Center said, "visibility in some areas will reduce to less than 50 meters, adding drivers should take safety measures." China has a color-coded warning system for severe weather, with red being the most serious, followed by orange, yellow & blue.

Air Pollution Is The Biggest Threat To Human Health: WHO

SC Strikes Centre For Delaying Covid Guidelines

The Supreme Court on September 3 "striked" the Central government for delaying the framing of Covid relief guidelines. The SC instructed the center to speed up the process of issuing compensation and death certificates to those who died. Also, the apex court asked the centre to roll out the new guidelines ahead of a possible third wave and to submit a compliance report before September 1.

Centre Axes Several Restrictions In Fresh COVID-19 Guidelines
