12 Year Old Palestinian Boy Dies After Being Shot By Israeli Soldiers

A 12-year-old Palestinian boy died on October 10, after being shot and wounded by Israeli soldiers during a weekend army raid in a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Mahmoud Samoudi was shot in the abdomen Saturday during an army raid in Jenin, a refugee camp and stronghold of armed Palestinians. Moreover, soldiers entered the camp and surrounded a house.

Suspected Monkeypox Case Discovered In Kerala; Sample Sent For Diagnosis

Kerala's health minister, Veena George, said on July 14 that a person who had returned from overseas had been brought to a hospital after exhibiting signs of monkeypox. The National Institute of Virology has received his samples for examination. Monkeypox is a viral zoonotic disease with symptoms like smallpox but less severe clinically. This is the first case in India to exhibit these symptoms.

Delhi Court Extends Satyendar Jain's Judicial Custody Till July 20: Money Laundering Case

Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain's judicial custody in a money laundering case, has been extended till July 20. Meanwhile, on July 11, accused Vaibhav Jain has also been sent to judicial custody in the same matter. Furthermore, third accused Ankush Jain is already in the judicial custody. Iraq Records 90 Cases, 10 Deaths Due To Viral Hemorrhagic Fever

Approximately 90 cases of viral hemorrhagic fever (VHF) were reported in Iraq, with at least ten individuals dying as a result of the illness, stated the Iraqi Ministry of Health. The VHFs are a category of viruses, including the Ebola virus, that target several organ systems in the body and can induce fever and hemorrhage. The Iraqi health ministry has not specified which virus is responsible for the current outbreak.

Massive Fire in Delhi: 27 Bodies Are Recovered, 8 Injured Undergoing Treatment

A massive fair broke out in 4 storey building near Mundka Metro Station, Delhi on May 13. The fire broke on the first floor, a CCTV camera and router manufacturing company. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Sameer Sharma, 50 people are rescued. Health Minister said 27 bodies are recovered, and eight injured are admitted to the hospital. The rescue operation is underway.

India Logs 67,084 New Covid-19 Cases With 1,241 Deaths

India on February 10, reported 67,084 new cases of COVID-19, 1,67,882 recoveries, and 1,241 deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the Health Ministry. While the death toll in India stands at 5,06,520. In 217 days India has crossed the grim milestone of 5 lakh Covid-19 deaths. Notably, the current recovery rate in the country stands at 96.70%. However, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka are recording a decline in Covid-19 cases.

Andhra Pradesh Reports 13,474 New COVID-19 Cases & 9 Deaths In 24 Hours

Andhra Pradesh continues to register a hike in COVID-19 cases with 13,475 new cases, on January 27. Besides, the state Health Department confirmed 10,290 discharges and 9 deaths in 24 hours. With this, the state currently has 1,09,493 active cases, 14,579 total deaths and 21,09,080 recoveries till date. Notably, AP is one of the southern states, contributing to the hike in cases, after Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Delhi Reports 2 More Cases Of Omicron; Cases Rises To 10: COVID-19

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on December 16 said that two more cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 have been detected in Delhi. It raised the total tally to 10 in the national capital. The Minister added that out of these 10 patients, nine are admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital and one has been discharged. All the patients are stable, reported ANI.
