India Records 10,197 Covid-19 Cases, 301 Deaths In Last 24 Hours
India reported 10,197 new Covid-19 cases, 12,134 recoveries, and 301 deaths in the past 24 hours, said the Health Ministry on November 17. Meanwhile, Kerala reported 5,516 cases, 6705 recoveries, and 39 deaths. The active caseload in the country stands at 1,28,555 which is said to be the lowest in 527 days. The weekly positivity rate of 0.96% is reported to be below 2% for the last 54 days.

India Administers Highest Doses Of Vaccine So Far In Single Day
According to the Health Ministry's latest data of August 17, India administered over 88.13 lakh doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in the last 24 hours categorising as the highest vaccination achieved to date. With this India also inoculated more than 55 crore vaccines. Besides, the ministry said India reported 25,166 new COVID-19 cases which is ''the lowest single-day rise in 154 days''. The total case in India stands at 3,22,50,679.
