Indian Squad Dethrones Australia, Becomes No.1 In ICC Test Ranking
Team India made history on Wednesday as it dethroned Australia to become the No. 1 team in ICC Test Rankings. This is the first time that the men in blue are in top positions in all three formats including T20Is and ODIs, and now ICC Test. The top-rank was achieved after India crushed Australia by innings and 132 runs in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy last week.

Rohit Sharma, Ashwin Improve Their ICC Test Ranking; Pujara In Top 10
By scaling six places, Rohit Sharma has attained the eighth spot - his career-best - in the ICC Test rankings. Continuing his form, the Indian opener has scored 298 runs in the ongoing India-England Test series. While skipper Virat Kohli stood at fourth, Cheteshwar Pujara has secured 10th rank. Meanwhile, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also climbed to number 3, as he became the 2nd fastest bowler to reach 400-wickets.

Kohli Slips To 5th In ICC Test Rankings, Joe Root Scales To 3rd
Indian captain Virat Kohli was pushed by his English counterpart Joe Root to the fifth spot in the recently released ICC rankings. Root has leapt two spots following his composed performance of 218 and 40 in the recently concluded test match in Chennai. Moreover, Rishabh Pant became the first full-time Indian wicketkeeper to reach 700 points. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Australia's Steve Smith secured the first and second spot.
