J&K: Army Jawan Martyred In Ceasefire Violation By Pakistan In Poonch

An Indian soldier was martyred after Pakistani troops on January 21 violated the ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC). US Commission Report Says China Plans Galwan Valley Clash

The US-China Economic and Security Review Commission on December 1 stated that the Galwan Valley clash was a planned one by the Chinese government. The report referred the clash, which led to the death of 20 Indian soldiers, as "most severe border crisis in decades". It also stated satellite images have revealed that the Chinese Army was increasing its buildup in the region prior to the clash itself.

Indian Army Kills 11 Pakistan Soldiers In Retaliatory Firing, Destroys Bunkers

Indian Army has killed at least 11 Pakistani soldiers and injured 16 in a retaliatory attack on November 13. The return fire by the Army has also destroyed bunkers, fuel dumps and launch pads of the Pakistani side. The Army retaliated against the ceasefire violations by Pakistan Army at several locations that killed three civilians. Earlier, three soldiers died due to the ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Uri and Gurez sector.
