Tight Security At LoC Amid Terrorist Sponsoring Ahead Of G20 Meeting
At the Line of Control (LOC,) Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian army forces are keeping a close watch on the activities of the Pakistan Army and terrorist grouping sponsored by it in the Indian territory. Notably, the Pakistani terror groups have been activated by the Pakistan Army and their government to disrupt the forthcoming G-20 meeting in Kashmir valley on May 23-24", confirmed the sources.

India-China Defence Force Holds High-Level Meeting At LOC
The Indian government officials held a high-level meeting with Chinese troops, on August 31. During the meeting, routine matters pertaining to peace and tranquillity were discussed between the two nations officials. They also spoke about air space violations by Chinese troops, warning Chinese troops against misadventures. These meetings between China-India are in the view of border arrangements for peace and law, between India and China.

Accidental Grenade Blast Kills 2 Army Personnel In J&K's Poonch
In Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch, an accidental grenade blast has claimed the lives of two Army personnel along the LoC. An Army officer and a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), who were injured in the blast, succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Meanwhile, all the injured soldiers beete evacuated to Udhampur, using a helicopter. Further details on the matter is awaited.

Delhi Court Grants Permission To Jacqueline Fernandez, To Travel To Abu Dhabi
Delhi court granted Jacqueline Fernandez permission on May 28 to travel to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from May 31 to June 6, 2022. AK-47 & Pistols Recovered In J&K During Police-Army Joint Operation
In J&K's Poonch area, security forces on February 14 have recovered arms and ammunition, including two pistols and an AK-47 rifle. The search operation was conducted by J&K police along with the Indian army, near the LoC in Deri Dabsi village of Mendhar area. In a joint operation, they recovered one AK-47, two pistols, pistol magazines. However, an FIR has been registered under the relevant arms act.

BSF Jawans Celebrate Bihu Festival At Freezing Temperatures
In Kashmir's Keran village, Border Security Force (BSF) celebrated the festival of Bihu by dancing in the snowy weather. Taking to Twitter BSF posted the video and wrote, "This all didn’t deter BSF troops to dance few steps & celebrate #Bihu at FDL in #Keran Sector." The video was also shared by PRO Udhampur, Ministry of Defense. Nearly, at a height of 17,000 feet, the Indian Army guards the post.

Terrorist Killed, Infiltration Attempt Foiled In J&K's Rajouri
A terrorist was shot down by the Indian Army while foiling an infiltration attempt along the LoC in Rajouri district's Bhimber Gali sector in Jammu and Kashmir on November 26. The body of the terrorist along with his weapon and ammunition has also been recovered, said Jammu-based defence spokesman Lt Col Devender Anana. He added that the anti-insurgency operation is in progress after nine soldiers were killed.

9 Soldiers Killed So Far In J&K's Anti-Militants Operation
Rashtriya rifles of the Indian army reported that 9 soldiers were killed so far in the search operation in the Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir. The Indian army started a search operation nearby the forest area of the Poonch district after a group of militants trespassed the Line Of Control (LOC). Reportedly, five soldiers were killed on October 11 and four were killed on October 14.

Military Commanders Of India & China Begin Military-level Talk
The next round of military-level talk has started between Indian and Chinese military commanders on October 10. Meanwhile, Indian Army Chief Gen MM Naravance said the Indian Army will not reduce the number of troops if China does not stop deploying its troops along the line of Acutal Control (LAC) in Ladakh. Besides, Ithe Army Chief also expressed his concern over China's ''infrastructure development'' at the border.

Kashmir: Indian Army Opens Cafe Near Kaman Aman Setu At LOC In Uri
Signifying peace between India and Pakistan, the Indian Army on May 18 has opened a new cafe in the Uri sector of LOC in Kashmir. The cafe is near the Kaman Aman Setu, which worked as a travel and trade route between India and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. "After taking a selfie at the bridge, people can come and have snacks," stated Indian Army Major Vishal Dev.
