Shree Jagannath Temple Reopens After 3 Days: Odisha
The iconic Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha's Puri has been reopened for devotees after three days of closing, on December 3. Reportedly, the Temple administration had decided to close the 12th-century temple on December 31 to avoid big crowds of devotees around New Year considering the spread of COVID-19, as per PTI. However, the priests and servitors continually performed all rituals during the three days, said an official.

Rath Yatra Begins Without Public Gathering: Ahmedabad
The 144th Rath Yatra has started without public participation at Jagannath temple in Ahmedabad on July 12. However, considering the Coronavirus pandemic a curfew has been imposed on the route ''Ashadhi Beej'' and the duration of the procession is also reduced to about four-five hours from the usual 12 hours.
