Nitish Kumar Led Govt Wins Majority Votes In Floor Test: Bihar

Nitish Kumar-led  Bihar Government wins majority in the floor test, held during the Legislative Assembly on August 24. The Janata Dal-United and Rashtra Janata Dal alliance formed the government after Nitish Kumar led the JDU to exit from the National Democratic Alliance and BJP alliance. Notably, Nitish Kumar won 164 MLAs votes in the 243-member Bihar assembly. "This is a never-ending inning, it will be historic," said Tejashwi Yadav".

Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar, for the 8th time, on August 10. After resigning as the NDA-BJP CM, Nitish Kumar formed an alliance with Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD and staked claim to form his JDU-RJD Government in Bihar.
