High Court Stays Haryana Law On 75% Job Quota In Private Sector
The Punjab and Haryana High Court stayed the Haryana law providing 75% reservation in industries to youngsters, with the domicile of the state, on February 3. Maratha Community Protests Against Maharashtra Govt Over Reservation Issue
Claiming that the Maharashtra government has failed to address the Maratha reservation issue, the community members on October 9 hold protests across the state. They blamed that government has adopted a careless attitude towards the issue. They also asked the government not to hold police recruitment and Maharashtra Public Service Commission exams unless the issue is resolved. The protest was joined by BJP MP Sambhaji Chhatrapati as well.
