AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi gave a statement in the "Karnataka Hijab Row" after the Supreme Court issued a split decision on the Karnataka Hijab Row. On October 14, Owaisi said, "Many people got stomach ache and heartache, couldn't sleep at night, when I said if not in my lifetime then after me, a hijab-wearing Muslim woman will become the Prime Minister of this country," said Owaisi.

Do Not Compare Kirpan & Turban With Hijab: Supreme Court
Continuing the legal proceedings of the petitions filed in the Karnataka Hijab Row, the Supreme Court's five-judge bench asked not to compare Sikh religious practice with Hijab. Karnataka Police Arrests Man Who Issued Death Threat To Hijab Row Verdict Judges
The Karnataka Police arrested the man who issued death threats to Karnataka HC judges, who pronounced "Hijab Row" verdict. Karnataka Hijab Row verdict in favour of the Karnataka government and university disappointed a community in the state, following which a man allegedly issued a death threat to the judges. Meanwhile, the man has been sent to 8 days judicial custody. Furthermore, the police said they will look into the matter.

Karnataka Hijab Row Hearing Continues, Advocate Suggests Mediation

Karnataka CM Announces To Re-open Schools Upto 10th Class
Schools and colleges (classed till 10) are likely to resume classes from February 14. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, reviewed a meeting and announced to reopen schools for classes upto 10. He instructed DCs, SPs and school administration to take necessary steps and ensure to conduct peace committee meeting. Thousands Protest In Maharashtra's Malegaon, 4 Held: Karnataka Hijab Row
Amid the ongoing issue against the hijab ban in schools and colleges in Karnataka thousands of people gathered to protest in Maharashtra's Malegaon. The organization named 'Jamiet Ulema e Hind' has organized the protest and four organizers have been arrested under Section 144 for protesting against police permission.
