Jharkhand HC Denies Lalu Yadav's Bail Plea In Dumka Treasury Case

The Jharkhand High Court on February 19 rejected RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav bail plea. However, the court added that the ex-CM could re-apply after two months when half of the total sentence is completed. Lalu was denied bail in the Dumka case, where he was convicted for withdrawing Rs 3.13 crore from the treasury. Jailed since December 2017, Lalu has been granted bail in three out of four cases.

Jharkhand HC Stays Ailing Lalu Yadav's Bail; Next Hearing on Feb 5

The Jharkhand High Court on January 29 deferred the bail plea of ex-Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav to February 5. Reportedly, the bail plea filed in the fodder scam case has been suspended by the court as the CBI sought more time to investigate. Earlier, ailing Lalu was admitted to the AIIMS, Delhi after being referred by the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science. Currently, Lalu is serving the 7-year imprisonment since December 2017.

Lalu Health Declines; To Be Air-Lifted To AIIMS Delhi For Treatment

Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav will be shifted to Delhi AIIMS owing to breathing difficulties and developing pneumonia. Convicted under a fodder scam, Lalu was being treated at the Rajendra Institute Of Medical Science (RIMS). Reportedly, a team of eight medicals examiners suggested the move as his health deteriorated. Reportedly, he would be shifted through an air ambulance after approval from the CBI court.

Lalu Yadav's Kidney Functioning At 25%: His Physician Tells RIMS

Ailing RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s physician Dr Umesh Prasad has written to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences about Yadav’s kidney functioning only at 25%. RJD Chief Lalu Yadav Booked After Contentious Audio Clip Surfaces

BJP Questions Lalu Yadav's Stay In The Bungalow Allotted To RIMS Director

The Jharkhand's BJP President Deepak Prakash raised worries over RJD chief Lalu Yadav using the RIMS Hospital Director’s bungalow, while serving his jail term. Moreover, the new director of RIIMS is staying in the state guest house which costs Rs 800/day, paid by the government. According to the in-charge of Jharkhand prison, Inspector General (IG) follows the court orders and "No orders have been directed for the shifting of Lalu Yadav."
