Madhav Godbole

Madhav Godbole (85) the former Union Home Secretary passed away due to cardiac failure at his residence in Pune, Maharashtra on April 25.  Highlighting his political career, Godbole was an IAS officer and served as the Union Home Secretary, of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Urban Development Departments. Furthermore, he took voluntary retirement from Home Secretary post in 1993.
