In a shocking incident, 24 patients, including 12 newborns, lost their lives at the Shankarrao Chavan Government Hospital in Nanded due to a severe shortage of medicines and staff. The situation worsened as an additional 70 children found themselves in critical condition, highlighting the dire state of healthcare facilities. The tragedy intensified with the death of seven more lives, taking toll to 31 in Maharashtra's hospital.

FDA Health Advisers Unanimously Approved Alzheimer's Drug Leqembi
Health advisors have unanimously backed the much-anticipated drug Leqembi. After receiving conditional approval in January, early results demonstrated Leqembi's efficacy in early-stage ofAlzheimer's disease. The FDA is currently reviewing more conclusive data to determine if the drug justifies full approval with final decision by July 6.
