HMRL Records Highest Footfall Of 5 Lakh Passengers In Day
The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) created a record, with over five lakh footfall in one day. On July 4, the HMRL issued an official statement and expressed gratitude to the commuters, for using the metros. Among the metro corridors, the Miyapur-LB Nagar corridor has topped with 2.60 lakh people, followed by the Nagole-Rayadurgam corridor with 2.25 lakh people and other stations witnessed 30,000-15,000 people.

After several obscene videos of couples went viral, the Delhi Metro authority in collaboration with the City Police decided to patrol coaches. Now, the Delhi police will be patrolling the metro coaches, ensuring the safety of the commuters. Furthermore, the patrolling will be done by officials boarding trains in civil clothes. Recently, a couple was caught kissing in a Delhi metro, and the video went viral.

Hema Malini Ditches Car, Uses Auto Rickshaw, Metros To Reach Home: Mumbai
Veteran Bollywood actress and MP Hema Malini ditched her car and took an auto-rickshaw ride along with metros, to avoid Mumbai traffic. The actress documented the entire evening when she used public transport, instead of her car. Looking at her social media posts, Malini likely had a great experience and a joyful evening. She said, it took her 2 hours between Juhu-Dahisar, but 1/2 hour while returning via metro.
